Delusions

Dancing delusions flutter by my butterfly brainbox, shine before my eyes white crystalline orb whisp and brittle broken train of thought, gentle back and forth beat of the wings swarm before eyes begin to process colour I see flecks and hear your dance, your version of events makes no sense how can it? These half formed musing bore out of me every pore in my skull wracked with rage and romance exude pathetic power riddles riffling through papers and parchment of mind scribe insanity but why? It crawls out of me claw and splutter up my throat, eyes beam nonsensical rumours as rascals roam the halls of inner ear whispering brutal nothings always This attack must end, words hammer the vortex to be silenced lock and key but they’re winning beyond the peripheral and my defences cannot hold. I see you floating above me flaunting misconstrued memories and mocking my descents to the madness millennium with pride, you flutter delicate in essence but forceful forever squeezing pressure down, bitter explosion ink innards smeared across sickly green walls, blood red speaks millions of vessels tied up inside me straining to break out of chain flesh shackle skull deep murky water drowning begging for breath, deaf beneath the surface paper skin, unstoppable force grapple ribs and rupture me, your blessing is well received i don’t fain gratitude it swallows me alive and I pray

Forget me

this would sound fantastic live, there is a lot of lovely assonance in the words that would spit out nicely on stage.
