I’ve signed up for on-line dating,

Now I’m sitting here and waiting,

And it’s truly quite frustrating;

I thought it would be elating,

But it’s not.

 

I wrote a profile summary

Without committing perjury;

Tried not to make it flowery,

But is it now too cursory?

Hope it’s not.

 

Maybe I should add a photo,

Taking extra care to veto

Those that make me look from Pluto,

Or been bitten by mosquito,

Though I’ve not.

 

Now I’ve had it all uploading

It is really discommoding

That for all my great forboding

My inbox would be exploding

But it’s not!
