1.Me and my mug

 

I’d like to know who did it

Been using my favourite mug for years

It’s been with me through the laughter

And it’s witnessed a fair few tears

 

My kids gave it to me when they were young

It says “You don’t have to be mad to work here…

But if you are, it helps”

A very droll sentiment that I hold so very dear

 

It has kept me company in many meetings

Steaming by my side during those endless conference calls

It has overseen interviews and sadly, the odd sacking too

Bearing testament to all those workplace rise and falls

 

So when I find out whodunit, there’ll be hell to pay

Because now, as I near the end of every brew

I encounter the word scratched into the bottom

Of my favourite, precious mug – It simply says “Boo!”
