Water

Malaria and dengue are among the main dangers of stagnant water, a breeding ground for the mosquitoes that transmit the disease.

Stagnant water can be dangerous with many kinds of bacteria and parasites that spread with ease.

A spring is a place where water naturally flows. Not only do springs come in different forms, but they also come in different sizes.

Water from springs is usually clear, some may be colored by the minerals but still they run free with no disguises.

We evolve and we change from day to day from a week to a year, taking on new people and leaving some behind

The choice to be stagnant water or the spring ... Is your frame of mind.

Whether literal or taken metaphorical, this poem is a great one that takes the concept of that which is the symbol of life itself, and juxtaposes it next to simple yet effective dangers that can only be mitigated with the proper knowledge and implementation of said knowledge. I'm sure water warriors and life lovers everywhere would like this too, as it can fit multiple narratives.

Hi Ria,

I'd like to think I'm spring but hope you would let me know otherwise!
