Donations are essential to keep Write Out Loud going

The impressions of fingerprints

Pressed against the transparent barrier

Filled with urgency and

Quiet desperation to break

Through and be enveloped.

Bending, waving, beckoning

Trapped within, redundant and

Nostalgic. You breath through

Your skin envious of the

Swathes of white in the sky.

Your desires shifting alongside the

Diversities of nature.

The restlessness of life mirrored

In the gentle sway of green

You want free

From this deceitful transparent barrier.

Hi Stephanie,

Just read your poem and thought you might be interested in submitting work to my new Ezine, Bindweed Magazine, if you're looking for another platform for your poetry: https://bindweedmagazine.wordpress.com/submission-guidelines/

Happy writing!
