Snowfall

I'm waiting for the snow to cover all the ground
To watch the flakes fall silently as they do without a sound

I'm waiting for the snow to hide all the countries imperfections
To cover all the trace of dirt in bright illumination

I'm waiting for the snow to fall to brighten all the land ... To take our minds away from war, and all the hate the government plans

I'm waiting for the snow to fall to see cars stuck in its tracks
So we forget about the Demons that are burdens on our backs

I'm waiting for the snow to fall to lighten up the night
To give the news a break from hate to show a ray of light

I'm waiting for the snow to fall to give journalists a new story
No missing people reported or a court room and a jury

I'm  waiting for the snow to fall but I don't see it in the sky.  instead all I see is darkness and rain, no snow from way up high xx

I don't think it is finished ... I quit it
I'll re look at it ... Thank you

Maybe that's a better finish

Very nice poem, it kinda goes down hill on the last verse, perhaps it's not finished?
