The Big Picture

entry picture

They lose the bigger picture
Under this beautiful blue sky
Want you to worry about triviality
That if you don’t meet the deadline you will die

But you know the smell of morning coffee
And the kindness of strangers that raise a smile
As big as this morning sun
That you didn’t let pass by

Let them get trapped and eaten up by the day
You will look at the spider’s web
And what beautiful work you did today

They will wake up
In their sanitised house
All cobwebs extinguished with flash bleach
Extinguishing those small parts of
Life which make us complete

Wow.
Its really strong in those simple words.
and sends out quite a message (if i understand it right) about how nature is slowly getting destroyed by our routine and seemingly innocuous actions...
