entry picture

Sean O’Brien, professor of creative writing at Newcastle University, will be launching his new collection, The Beautiful Librarians, at the start of Newcastle’s new international poetry festival, which is taking place from 19-21 March. Remarkably, all events at the festival at Northern Stage are free, although they are also all ticketed. The lineup also includes Mark Doty, Anne Stevenson, Michael Longley, Kei Miller, George Szirtes and Niall Campbell. More details
