I fear the air-strikes won`t be able to do it, sooner
or later we`ll be forced to go in on the ground...
At the moment it must be a better terrorist training ground that Afghanistan ever was...And they`ll be coming over here much more intelligently trained.
I'm content to let others judge TC's comments.
However, in the wider historical sense,
the "racial" aspect is exaggerated when this
phenomenon is more about power and influence under the banner of religion.
Any US reference to "thousands" dying would be
accurately found in the irresistible "go west"
expansion of immigrant arrivals after the Civil
War and the policy of slaughtering millions of
bison upon which the native American depended
for survival in large numbers. Death through
war and disease among them far exceeded the numbers deaths of blacks in comparable circumstances in US society thereafter.
On another level, I could take TC's opening lines and refer to the known and provable deeds of the Nazis ("Terrible")
and compare them with the "butchery" by Stalin's Russia of just about anyone.
But is that relevant to today's threat?
Terrible I know, but ISIS' atrocities pale in comparison to the butchery of white upon black in the USA, as recently as the 1980's. Thousands of black men women and children, butchered whilst alive in front of howling, jeering men, women and children. The audiences white, often middle-class and christian. The west was won by and rejoiced in such horror. Tommy

The world is well acquainted with man's
inhumanity to man over the documented centuries of human existence but facile
comparisons to make a point about "race" is lamentably short of the mark in any worthwhile debate about the current
situation that sees IS flaunt its
black banner on behalf of a dangerously
corrupted and insidious form of Islam.
