Here lies Marlboro,
in sickness and in health
in poverty and wealth
the marble tongue devil shatters,
hapless against the funnelled ears of new age medicine
squeezing and pedalling their own brands of addiction
packed down like homemade rocket engines
ignition-bound with good intentions.
They're only saving saviors a quick buck or two 
while the choke of swallowed pride 
took too soon our brightest and our best.
Gravely, those extra years we saved
were slain with all the rest.
