Risk A Verse, a Write out Loud open mic night at the community-run Red and Green Club at Milnsbridge, Huddersfield, will be held on Thursday 24 July at 7.30pm. All are welcome to read their own work, or a favourite, or to bring along a song or similar. The Red and Green Club sits beside the locks where canal laureate Jo Bell's poem is inscribed, on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. Entry is free, and it’s compered by Write Out Loud’s co-founder, Julian Jordon. More details and Map
