I See You

I see you there; hiding

Behind layers of an icy stare,

Lurking in the shadows of a wicked wit,

Peeking from behind your "I don't give a shit".

I see you there;

Shivering,

Alone and bare.

Thinking no-one

In the world

Will ever care.

But I see you

And, I do.

The agony of soul searching is depicted well in this piece.

Really love that when writers all pitch in with suggestions and it works to o towards a better more refined finished piece, good work guys!

scanned a couple of your poems I really like them, very to the point. I really like your work.

Ive made a lot of realisation's reading stuff from osho. He wrote this once that I'll post below, hope it helps and hope you don't mind me quoting him just thought you may like his outlook on things

Love

Ged X

“The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love. It may look paradoxical to you, but it's not. It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person--without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without becoming addicted to the other. They allow the other absolute freedom, because they know that if the other leaves, they will be as happy as they are now. Their happiness cannot be taken by the other, because it is not given by the other.”

Lovely.

Why do you start each line with a capital letter-except the last one?

My friend once asked me the same question.
