Daddy's Girl

As she looks upon the man
Her eyes give her away
And you can see the truth
Of her heart and soul
She loves him, her father
Complete love, innocence
So beautiful and magical
With eyes as bright as the moon
A smile that shines like the sun
Their bond is unbreakable
For her love knows no limits
She will forever be his daughter
Her hero he will be

It's completely true. I could see no wrong in him. I love the wording structure. Eyes as bright as moons. It brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing.

Wow.... 'With eyes as bright as the moon, A smile that shines like the sun...'
A complete picture in the eyes of the reader of devoted innocence.
Beautiful.
I also found 'My Inner Child' very compelling.
So glad you have picked up your pen again.

Well put, Helene. And it doesn't matter, at all, whether the father actually deserves such 'complete love'. But it must be truly wonderful if it is a reciprocal relationship. Regardless of circumstances, this bond will last.

A beautifully worded devotion
