Fusion poet Anjum Malik at Bolton's first poetry festival

Anjum Malik, a poet who fuses eastern and western forms, will be headlining a performance by a collaboration of local writers whose first language is not English on Wednesday 25 June as part of the first Bolton poetry festival. More details of the festival programme are to be announced soon. Malik appeared in Write Out Loud’s The Beat is Back event at the Marsden jazz festival in October last year.
