Carol Ann Duffy gives reading to aid literary festival

The poet laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, is to give a special reading at the Orangery in Wakefield on Easter Saturday, 19 April, at 6pm to help raise funds in support of Wakefield Lit Fest. The poet laureate is in Wakefield to take part in the Easter Sunday service at Wakefield cathedral, when she will present a new poem as part of her national project on England’s cathedrals. Wakefield Lit Fest will run for its third year in 2014 between 19-30 September.
