London spoken word events organiser Poejazzi is reaching out by launching a free poetry app available on iOS and Android. Charlotte Morgan-Nwokenna, Poejazzi’s creative director, said: “Poejazzi Season One is our way of mixing established names in spoken word with emerging artists and making poetry a part of peoples' everyday lives. It showcases modern, original poetry as a fully interactive and multimedia experience, from visuals to magazine content. The app contains a poignant, funny and diverse collection of poems; covering the bits of daily life that somehow turn out to be the best stories. The app will update for 16 weeks with a poem once a week accompanied by audio renditions, video renditions, videos created by visual directors who were inspired by the texts and the Poejazzi online magazine to entertain you on the move.”

You can get the app on Google Play, iTunes, and Samsung Apps
