And then the heart does flutter.

And then the heart does flutter

From the slightest of embrace

From the slightest tiny mutter

From the lips upon your face

And it’s like nothing ever changed

From the time we both were one

From the time before my heart broke

From the time that you where gone

And in that stolen instant

From a place within my heart

From a place no longer distant

From a place we’re not apart

And once again I felt your love

From the shade felt sun on face

From the drag I felt the shove

From my fall…

I fell to grace.

I like this too, lovely first verse and just a lovely use of words.

Yeh I like it too. The metre is tight, and there are some lovely lines in it. It's delicate, poignant. Almost like an upturned face.

Tiny typo alert - 2nd line, 2nd verse - should be 'were'.

I like this Ged - there are some lovely parts to it. I love the idea of falling to grace - it's beautiful. x
