Of our Guest -

Paul combines recognisable page quality with a clear impassioned delivery.

He’s a poet sharing his convictions and asking questions of himself and the listener.  Themes come in the form of identity, love, nature.  Who are we? How should we be measured, considered or valued?  What is our time, past or memory worth?  Going beyond Identity of the self, he asks - what is love?   Love and the erotic are a territory for exploration and language.  Nature and the seasons may make their mark, but if they do, nature might be personified - saying something of ourselves.

A butterfly voice that shows the power and beauty of fragility –

Alongside our Guest -  the wonderful you! In our Open Mic.
5 minute minimum reading slots - dependent on numbers - maybe longer.

A very warm welcome for all from far or near in an award winning location. Right next to public transport links – award winning CAMRA beer –

late licence – bright lights – stage – great pa – rowdy in a good way in the breaks –

pin drop quiet when you read :)
