52 Hertz Comp - Time to Vote

entry picture

Hi Folks - the closing date for 52 Hertz entries is today.  You can still enter if you tag your poem with 52 Hertz, as it will be picked up by the link I give you to all the entries.  The longer you leave it though, the less opportunity you will be giving people to read and vote on your work.

I've been delighted by the number and quality of the poetry submitted - and blown away by the different ways people have handled the Hertz theme.  I'm now hoping that enough readers will take time to appreciate the hard work of all those poets, by voting and making the results a meaningful outcome.

How To Vote

There are 25 poems in the competition.  You can see a list by clicking on Blogs from the homepage,  then 'popular subjects in the last year'.  Make sure you click on the tag 52 Hertz on the right hand side (last year) else you will miss entries posted in June.  The list should start with the poet Francine and end with Rachel Bond.  The very final blog is an explanation of the term 52 Hertz and the inspiration for the competition.

Please mail me with your choice of 1st 2nd and 3rd and if you have time - say what it was that you liked about the winning poem.  You can do this by messaging me internally on WOL - or if you have problems with that, contacting me at farmoorgirl@yahoo.co.uk.  I'd like to close the voting by Sunday 7th July...

Can I finish by giving a huge thank you to all the poets who have taken the time to write and post work on this theme.  I always say this of the Tudor - it just wouldn't work without the people!
