Yes once again it's across the pond to America another poetry tour, again solely in Texas, this time only 19 days. Once again I hope to record it in rhyme. I fly out on April 12, again I am writing as the inspiration takes me, hence the title. The poems may or may not be titled but all will have the date they were written and comments in (italics and brackets).

I wrote the following during the planning stage following a poem my friend Thom sent me:

 

01.02.13 - 1) Dreams

Mine are growing clearer as departure date draws nearer

Bookings get completed hopes of a good time repeated

Long transatlantic flight should get there alright

Open mic second day and night

Writing, reciting, delighting

On stage performing poems written that very morning

Radio show, way to go

05.04.13 - 2) Where's t' vinegar?

I searched high and low, on the go

Hers and there, everywhere, non to be found anywhere

But last year I couldn’t get malt vinegar in Texas

Neither imported of from malt home grown

This year I’m going one better

I’m going to take my own
