JAEGERBOMBS AND KARMA

Once upon a time ....

JAEGERBOMBS AND KARMA.

Vodka and drama.

Jaeger bombs and karma.

When souls are bared

Temptation’s there though.

Allowing booze to choose him,

For alcohol to abuse him

And use him for distraction.

While Euphoria’s the attraction.

When wages are converted into drink.

He doesn’t even think

About the consequences.

After all, his world won’t make much sense

For too much longer.

It all depends how strong

His best friend Voddy is,

How strong his body is.

A couple of hours in and it’s,

“I love you” time.

A volatile mix when emotion and drink combine.

A couple of bombs and you’re his,

“Best mate”

A couple more and you’re the one he hates.

Screaming, and slipping onto the floor.

Crawling, spewing out of the door.

Slurring speech and a nodding head.

“Never again I wish I was dead!!”

How many times has he said that before?

Usually just as his head hits the floor.

Same old crap every Friday night.

Boozing, cruising and an untidy fight.

Singing and dancing at the taxi rank,

“Hey!! I was here first you fucking wanker!!”

Swing and miss, swing and miss.

Not much use when you’re pissed.

Into a cab and away he goes,

“I’d have fucking killed him!!”

He wipes his nose,

And sees a drop of blood

On the cuff of his shirt.

It mixes well with the colour of the dirt

He picked up while he was rolling around.

Another perfect end to a Friday in town.

So, how can you say his whole world is drab?

Have you never seen a re-cycled kebab?

First thing in the morning perched on his chest.

While he has been dreaming he was on the nest.

Slowly coming round he wonders what he’s done.

“Did I hurt anybody? Did I have any fun?”

He’s been stupid in stupor.

Even so he’s a trooper.

Last night was vodka and drama.

This morning’s much calmer

And it’s Saturday!!

WHOOP, WHOOP!!

Great piece Pete, really nice flow and some good rhymes in there, "Have you never seen a re-cycled kebab?" has to be my favourite line!
