I walk my former stomping ground
and reaching middle age I find
my rootedness the more profound
for being constantly refined.
And when I quit my roaming round
my lifeless limbs will lie aligned
but I will be by nature found
more geographically defined.
A good one, short and punchy, and with skilled metre and rhyme. What's not to like.
