Cheltenham poetry festival is seeking poets to read at a festival event on the theme of travel. Festival director Anna Saunders said: “If you have written any poems on the theme of travel we would love to hear from you.” The event will be headlined by Iron Press poet James Knox Whittet

Anna added: “if anyone would like to take part we could offer them a VIP pass to the festival, so they could attend all events for free and meet the poets performing.” Anyone interested should email her at annasaund@yahoo.co.uk

The full festival programme will be announced early in January, but already confirmed are leading poets Fiona Sampson, Christopher Reid, Bernard O’Donoghue, and Elaine Feinstein. The festival will run from 20-28 April.
