Three leading, international poets will take the stage at the 10th annual Poetry Prom on Thursday, 23 August at 7.30pm in Snape Maltings concert hall in Suffolk. Organised by the Poetry Trust in partnership with Aldeburgh Music, this year's prom will feature Imtiaz Dharker, pictured, Paul Durcan and Marie Howe, from Asia, Ireland and America. The Poetry Trust also organises the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival, which this year will feature 25 poets, from America, Ireland, Palestine, Somalia, South Africa, and South Korea, as well as the UK, in over 50 events from 2-4 November. Photograph: Simon Powell
