My soul is in search

of somewhere calling,

hoping that I would find

the road to take me,

where I want to go,

but I cannot see the path

that I still walk.

And I am lost,

drifting in the arms of time

as another year fades away,

and fear grips me

for where will I be

next year?

And still I can hear the calling,

the hope of finding somewhere

to live my dream,

to live my life,

and my soul is in search,

hoping to break free from here

and fly high

to where I want

to be.

And my feet still walk the path,

blind but determined

to find that road

that has avoided my gaze

for far too long.

And if I keep pushing,

if I keep dreaming,

then maybe I will finally

find the place,

where I should be.
