How many folk have ever had the chance,
to converse with an angel and to glance,
into the eyes of one who flies where they will,
one who we know will never swoop to make a kill...

Up amongst the eagles they may choose to fly,
and perhaps they share the falcon's sharper eye,
does greater vision let them know reasons why mankind,
seems ever ready to break their fellows in spirit & mind?

Some rush for more than they could ever really need,
hoarding gold that illustrates their endless greed,
polished diamonds cut to dazzle the poor mans sight,
what care does that show for their kindreds plight?

Please angels will you converse with those that take,
far more than they need for we must now break,
with past excesses that only served the favoured few,
surely now it's time to take a more measured view...
