45) The day was dawning clear, time to get outa here

Bags packed, car to load, then I hit the road

In God and the GPS I put my trust

Now it's Galveston or bust

46) To Texas City I made my way, for an open mic on Palmer Highway

What happened no one could have supposed

When I got there the place was closed

I didn't know, it had shut a month ago

No open mic, not quite a pity

At least I wrote this little ditty

47 Long tail, hard on top, soft underneath

Snout full of very sharp teeth

If you fight it there'll only be one winner

It won't be you; you'll be its dinner

(Inspired after I took my first picture of an alligator)
