Joy France tours poetry nights to raise charity awareness

entry picture

Popular north-west poet Joy France is embarking on a mission this month, aiming to attend as many poetry events in the region as she can in order to raise awareness of juvenile diabetes. She will be raffling a copy of the much talked about Naked Muse calendar, with half the proceeds going directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the rest to support each poetry event. Her grand tour begins on Sunday night, 4 March, when she will be in Bury at Once More With Meaning. Event organisers can get in touch with Joy at 07825251243 if they want to be involved, as can anyone who wants to donate to the cause / or buy a ticket. The amount raised and the winner will be announced at the end of the month. Further details about how to order a copy of the Naked Muse calendar, which features pictures of male poets and poems by female poets, can be found here
