Word Experiment Three is up. Have fun. i think this one is gonna be a challenge for me, but I can't wait to see what the rest of you come up with. Here it goes.

http://drivenbythemoon.blogspot.com/2012/02/word-experiment-3-clemency.html

Love,
I wish for you to grow amongst the lunar tides
and factory girls
girls with words of spit fire,

Amongst things that bruise and scrape,
open wounds

At last, a chance to feel something aloud
Verbal love
Open mouthed laughter
The deep down agony of true friendship
And the way that it breaks

Dear sweet love,
For you,
I will steep away and let you fall,
for this is that chariot war kind of love
and It doesn’t get any realer than this

(this is a very loose interpretation, but I decided to go with it any way)

Ah! Last time I looked there was no poem here, so I didn't comment. Quite appropriate that I stumbled upon it on valentine's day I guess. I like the "this is that chariot war kind of love" line. I like your idea very much. Winston Plowes is a poet on here who often writes "found" poems which work really well. Check him out. I have some of those magnetic words that people stick on their fridge. I like to choose one at random to see if it has any meaning or relevance to my day. Good fun!

This is the link to the WOL themed Comp, in case you are interested. There is no prize as such - just the fun of knowing people liked your poem.

That's great, I'm still navigating my way through the website. I always love a good challenge and will have to participate in one of the challenges. Cheers

Ah, I see, okay, thanks for clarification!

We have something quite similar here on WOL in that we have themed competitions. Nowt majorly serious, but everyone enjoys the challenge of writing to a theme.

Hello Laura, so I like to put a bunch of various words on pieces of paper place them in a bag and draw one and write what ever that word brings up. This type of writing happens to be my favorite exercise. It's freeing yet still contained. So i'm gonna post a new word/theme every Monday and anyone is allowed to participate by putting there writing in the comment box. I haven't posted my poem on Clemency yet,but will soon. Cheers

Not sure I understand what this is about? Could you clarify for me please? Doesn't look like a poem.
