Poets Corner

A Brand new modern and upbeat venue - 'open mic poetry night' set in Hoylake's stunning Rock and Cocktail Bar that is -'Glassfire' . (next to Hoylake Station - Wirral)

We meet on the 3rd Tuesday in every month 8pm til late pm

All levels of Poet and  types of Poetry will be made very welcome by your hosts Graham Robinson  and Stella Jones - who are both Both Published and performance Poets...so come and see other Poets 'strut their stuff' and make new friends at 'Poets Corner'.

* Raffle with proceeds going to Claire House (childrens charity).

Poets Corner is a vibrant night for first time and veteran poets alike and a special effort is made to accommodate far travelling poets, if you want to perform and make that late night train or journey into the unknown we can get you on at a time to suit you- just ask for Graham or Stella on arrival.

Everyone on the night will get to perform at least once (depending on number of Poets).

Thanks to everybody and 'all great Poets' who have made our first 3 months at 'Poets Corner' a resounding success.
So make it a firm date for the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 8 til late!
We will not be meeting in December.. so our next 'Poets Corner' will be on Tuesday 17th January...
Come and see our Guest Poet Laura W Taylor and other Poets strut their stuff at 'Glassfire'...where we promise you all a warm and friendly welcome!

Our opening night at 'Glassfire' last night (18 Oct).....a big thank you to all Poets who attended- comments ranged from ' Warm and Inviting' to 'Friendly' to 'What a Great Stage and Venue' to 'We will certainly see you next month on the 15th Nov' and 'Great Night Graham'...Great venue..Great Poets with Great Poems....Great Scot!!!
