Poetry jam at Marsden jazz festival

entry picture

There’s a poetry jam with Write Out Loud at the Marsden jazz festival near Huddersfield today, Sunday 9 October. You are all welcome to bring your poems and strut your stuff between 11am and 1pm at the Railway Inn Map then soak up the fabulous atmosphere in the village with bands on every corner; or take yourself for a walk along the canal to see the highest, deepest, longest canal tunnel in the country. Early turn-up advised at the pub.

Write Out Loud’s founder Julian Jordon has been running workshops at the Marsden library in the run-up to this event. The festival itself runs from 7-9 October.
