RAINDROPS

All calm and quiet after the storm
Trees all bent, broken looking forlorn,
There’s beauty and quietness down the ravine,
Glistening in the sun, many shades of green.

Silently the rain still gently falls
You can hear the distant waterfalls,
Smell the aroma of rain mixed on the breeze
It’s tranquil sereneness, a magical tease.

A rainbow falls down to the ravine,
Watch the gentle flow of the stream
Catch a glimmer in a flash
Hear the sound of water splash.

The stream will flow to a destined place
Amazing, the ripples have such grace,
Large raindrops now fall through the trees
Around a gentle warm, refreshing breeze.

The raindrops quickly slip away
To leave a warm summers day
Sunlight peeps through the trees around
Warming natures earthly ground.
