Under Water

Chaos of dreams
crash into my mind
like violent waves
trying to drown my worries out,
but each day comes
with me struggling to stay
on solid ground.
My dreams have lit the sky,
but still there are cracks
along the pavement.
And if I were to fall again,
would I keep falling down?
Instead, I drift
upon each moment spent
in writing,
and I wait
in hopes
of more doors opening.
And then I too can take flight
into the stars above
and stand beside my dreams
with no more waves
crashing down
upon me.

Dear Melissa

What a delightful poem you have here. I loved the dreamy style, the uncertain feelings of falling down...It shows very well your inner thoughts through your words. Fantastic write!!

Thank you,
Zuzanna

Hi Melissa

Once again, I feel for you with this, the demons are still there, but you've captured the feelings of being cruched well. Finally some doors are opening for me, hope they will for you too X
