Lithuanian Poets In Manchester

The anthology of Lithuanian poetry, recently published by ARC Publications, introduces a remarkable generation of poets who were born in the 1960's, when Lithuania was part of the Soviet Union, but who mostly started publishing after their country achieved undependence in 1991.

Come & hear some of the brightest literary talent from Lithuania:-

Eugenijus Alisanka (pictured), a director of an international poetry festival in Vilnius

Gintaras Grajauskas, a poet & jazz musician from the sea port of Klaipeda

Sigitas Parulskis, award-winning novelist & one of the most outstanding contemporary Lithuanian writers.
