The winning entries are as follows…         

Poetry Section: Winners!

 

1st prize went to Mandy Coe from Liverpool, with 'Life is Simple.'

2nd Prize went to James Bostock from Liverpool, with 'Romance.'

The two entrants who are the shared third place prize-winners are, Danny Margetts from Liverpool, with 'If Christ came from Liverpool' and also Alice Harrison from Rhyl, North Wales, with 'Judy.'

 

Poetry Section: Short Listed.

 

Martin Domeleo from Preston, Lancashire; with 'The Assessors.'

Florence Delaney from London; with 'Excise.'

Dorothy Nelson from Wigan, Lancashire, with, 'Afternoon.'

Shirley Buckley from Middlesex; with 'Anonymous in the City.'

Duncan Parkes from the Wirral, Merseyside; with 'Chemical Attack.'

Roger Darby from Ainsdale, Southport; with 'This Poem.'

 

Short Story Section: Winners!

2nd Prize went to Cassandra Passarelli from Guatemala; with 'The Lift.'

The two entrants who are the shared place prize winners are, Christopher Parvin from Ormskirk, Lancashire; with 'Vanilla Grave Dirt.' And Jackie Morrisey from Dun Loaghaire, Southern Ireland; with 'Better than a Cat.'
