Street readings: WOL poets performing at big book market

entry picture

Write Out Loud poets including John Darwin,  Steve Garside, Gordon Zola, Anna Percy and Dermot Glennon are among many talented performance poets and authors giving live readings on Friday 17 June and Saturday 18 June at the Manchester Independent Book Market, St Ann’s Square, 10am-5.30pm, both days. This year's market will feature over 30 publishers including Peepal Tree, Route, Comma, Crocus/Commonword, Dreamcatcher, Flapjack, Nightjar, Satchel/Suitcase, Thanatos Books, Hidden Gem, and many others.  The market in St Ann’s Square, just off Deansgate, is a good place to browse, grab a coffee, or listen to live readings. It’s also an opportunity for writers to network, and meet representatives from the north’s independent publishers. Map
