And so the poetry continues this is a somewhat poetry progress poem.

15.04.11 - 54) I’d come to the American nation

For poetic inspiration

I would do it whole hearted

One before my journey started

One before I boarded the plane

I would write again and again

The flight was good, everything fine

By the time we landed I’d written nine

And I would write many more

Even write behind a door

I would write every day a poem along the way

I would write poems a plenty

In four days I’d written twenty

People thought them alright

When I recited them at night

A poem about a grackle

With its nasty cackle

A poem I wrote at no cost

About the time I got lost

From Austin to Lamesa along the highway

Writing poems along the way

Now I’m in Lamesa

Not for hot dog or pizza

But too write more and more

And this is poem number 54
