Sweet valentine of mine

Sweet valentine,
i'll watch from the shadows as you sleep,
stifle my breath as you shift beneath the sheets.
I'll take myself wherever you go,
patient, quietly excited.

Sweet valentine,
i'll wait as you comb your hair,
fingers entwined in ribbons of silk
I'll pause, enchanted as you caress balm
into your skin,
creamy porcelain laced in black.

Sweet valentine,
patience soon wears thin,
like a balloon, stretched and
prone to burst.

Sweet valentine,
i'm almost ready,

ready to do my worst.

Greatly enjoyed. I understood it to be written from the man's voice, and not menacing as much over-eager for intercourse, making a couple's 'intimate' joke. I may be all wrong. But it doesn't matter, does it?
