2).   JURIS  KRONBERGS - MONDAY  7th  JULY   6.30pm - 7.30pm
was born in Sweden in 1946, the child of Latvian war refugees. Fluent in Latvian & Swedish, he is a poet, translator & journalist, who has had 11 collections of poetry published in Latvia and one in Sweden.
'Wolf One-Eye' was published in the UK with an English translation by ARC Press in 2006.

4).  RADICAL  AMERICAN  POETS -  FRIDAY  11th  JULY  1-2pm
Martin Espada & Jon Andersen
Martin has published 14 books as a poet, editor & translator. His book of poems, 'The Republic of Poetry' was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. He teaches creative writing & the work of Pablo Neruda at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. 
'Crucifixion in the Plaza de Armas'  was published by Smokestack in February 2008.

Jon is a recipient of The People Before Profits Poetry Prize and Partisan Press's Working People's
Poetry Award. Curbstone Press published his first full-length collection, 'Stomp & Song', in 2005.
