Love of the Stars ( Space)

entry picture

On the suburb of the Universe

the Beta star has lighted up.

Her luminescence was a diverse,

By God she was set up.

His Majesty the Alpha star has seen her light,

has fallen in love with her at first sight.

His nights has become so bright,

somewhere even white.

At once he has sent her a ray of love

wishing her to be his beloved.

Her Excellency the Beta star

has received that ray of love.

She greatly wished to be his dove.

And …certainly to be happy.

Her light has become more  snappy.

She flashed brighter,

her life has become lighter.

She has sent the rays of love in return.

Her heart began to burn.

His Majesty the Alpha star

has accepted the rays of love

he went on to transfer his love,

wishing to call her ‘my only dove’.

He has sent her a passionate kiss

for her to remember him and miss.

The Beta star has sent a passionate kiss in return.

So, a new passionate love was born.

They gave birth to so many new planets and stars.

One of them was the planet Mars.

Their love occupied the whole Universe

And ….of course , our Mother Earth.

With such a grace

they shine  together in the whole space.

 Every certain period of time,

you can  hear a chime.

Even now they are the sounds of the church bells.

Each bell the truth tells.

The Alpha star and the Beta star

meet every year like lovers,

they are always the young stars.

Their orbits come as close as they allow,

this fact we have to avow.

Now they create new stars.

They hate any wars on the stars.

Their closeness has become a magnetic one,

a magnetic storm of love.

Every time when they approach to each other,

they both begin to spin,

to spin faster, without any sin,

every meeting in their life is a win.

Their love forces have become stronger,

they can’t stay apart any longer.

When they finally release their energy,

nowadays they say " chemistry",

they  send their love to all  planets,

for love, but not for the lethargy,

for the Sun to shine brighter,

for the Moon and the Earth,

for the whole Universe,

they spread the rays of love.

Oh, forgot to tell you. Why should you take it seriously? I certainly wrote it deliberately.

I wrote this poem long time ago. But... now I've changed a lot of verses here for the contest. If you have a look at my blog entries you will see this poem. It is a bit different.

Hi Larisa, thank you for your comment. I like the romantic angle you have posed in this verse, but I think that the way you have written it is in a juvenile form. (bit like much of my poetry really). The romantic content is nice, but I can't help but not take it seriously. I am wondering whether you did this deliberately? It is nevertheless, a poem that would catch the imaginations of many readers.

Stay well

much love

mike
