MOMENTS

MOMENTS

The tree's huge canopy ~
Shares its movement in the Summer breeze.
But close your eyes
And you will hear
Them speak to each other.

Two lovers fight ~
Words hurled intent to violate the mind.
But open your heart,
And you will see
The fear in their eyes; fighting for themselves.

A son cries silently ~
As his mother spits his father's name on the floor,
As his father spits his mother's name on the floor.
But if they felt the weight of time;
They would see the moment
Being carved,
Into the dreams of the child

We are the energy of,
Countless moments ~
Made physical.

Greetings Cynthia.
Your kind words humble me. I am still after 25 years, still trying to develop this craft where 'words paint emotionscapes of sound and energy'. Not quite there yet, but I'm still working at it.
The passion flower, was always a fascination for me. It always reminded me of home, and family.
Be blessed.

This is excellent, Eli, a heart and a mind toucher. It shows intuitive awareness of the world around us, imagination, and deep thought. I think you are a natural philosopher, with the gift of searching for, and using skillfully, the exact words you want to express your ideas clearly. I truly think you have 'the gift'. Also, I do like the photo of the passion flower. Is it meant to be symbolic in a particular way known to you from your upbringing?
