Thanks for your likes:
Yanma Hidaya,
Rolph David.

Rolph, I’m in desperate need of physical exercise. Whilst procrastination is my number-one enemy, being a former runner in old-age, over-enthusiasm is my other.

I’ve no excuse for not getting out, living near a local park, so I’ve devised a 3-mile route, which I walk on what I call the TOFEE principle: “Time on Feet”, as opposed to speed.

I meant to describe feelings of “Turning over a new leaf” (AGAIN!), whilst referring to the effects of climate change on the sesasons.

I also had in mind the Springtime of a long-awaited for political revolution in the UK... "Hope springs eternal", as they say!💪

Dear Uilleam,
Your haiku is intriguing — the exact times you note suggest careful steps of progress, and I read “spring” as a kind of renewal or new beginning. But of course, “spring” could also mean movement, bounce, or even just the literal season. It would be interesting to hear how you intended it in the flow of your poem, and how the times you gave connect with that image.
Kind regards,
Rolph
