So I found a poem. All I can say
is it went over my head
or it wasn't my thing, or I wasn't in the mood
or I just didn't have time.

A colleague happened by and looked over
the words while a made us a cuppa
then, biscuits between us, together
our analysis hobbled on.

Who would create this little scene
and for what purpose? Is there
a keen audience ready for just this
or is it a private matter, exposed.

As two had shared the thing it is confirmed
as real at least. There'll be 
opportunities to laugh about it
or disagree, or whatever.

Imagine the distraught author  
searching for their preliminary draft 
while we throw it onto the juggernaut
leading our proud procession to oblivion.
