Run away with me

entry picture

Run away with me across the borders
between the dusty hills
and the coppered light
of the old pier.

Run away with me
into the caves on the coastlines
and kiss the skies cool mouth
when the sunset finally goes down.

Run away with me
away from the mottled tears
of Autumn until Spring rolls back
its eyes again in puzzlement,

and run away with me
until our lives before us
are chalk-sketched memories
footprinted into the sea,

leaving our past behind us
in suitcases laid out in a cordon
caught in imaginary revolving days
ripened in rustles of moonlight.
