Here Kitty

HERE KITTY

By the Urban Poet

Here Kitty, Kitty

Go Kitty, Kitty

No not in the snow

Kitty, Kitty

Your far too old

To go out in the cold

Kitty, Kitty

So Stay in with me

And Share a cup of tea

Or a saucer of milk

It will go down like silk

Curl up in a ball

In your basket

against the wall

Or on your radiator bed

You can sleep there instead

Dream lovely dreams

Of bowls of ice cream

and luxury cat food

Or that I’m in a good mood

and don’t scream and shout

when you’ve messed me about

Or scratched the front door

Or pee’d on the floor

Kitty, Kitty

Then when you awake

If you make no mistakes

You can lie in the sun

When that snow has all gone

Here Kitty, Kitty!
