Poetry is pain sometimes pleasure

Highs and lows in equal measure 

Poetry is pain sometimes elation

It all depends on your situation

Poetry can make you laugh away

Then again it can make you cry all day

Poetry can lift your spirit and soul

As a writer it's my rock n roll 

Poetry can be comforting and heal

A story to tell or a tale to reveal

Poetry can raise you up and inspire

For me it definitely lights my fire

Poetry let's my thoughts and words strike a chord

The pen is surely mightier than the sword

Poetry for me is all about communication 

Spreading my words across the nation

Poetry is a world where you can escape 

When this crazy planet is to much to take

Poetry is my religion so pure

A real lifesaver for sure
