They're a No for Today

They are not dumb,
They are numb.
They just believe
The world will never let them grieve.

They are searching for a way
To believe they’re okay.
In quiet moments, they often say,
“Sorry, I can’t go back today.”

They need strength,
Not to hold back their tears,
But to admit their inner length,
And name their fears.

well crafted poem about the strength of being able to grieve and accept. Nicely done.
