REMAIN UNSULLIED
I THINK THAT
EVERY POETIC ACT
IS AN ACT OF
PSYCHOLOGICAL OPENNESS
THAT INVITES UNDERSTANDING
FROM THOSE
WITH A SENSITIVITY
TO LOVE
TO PEACE
AND HARMONY
IN SHORT
OUR SPIRITUAL RELEASINGS
OF MINDS
OF HEARTS
AND SOULS
( FEEL FREE TO DISAGREE )
I certainly agree, Leon. I think that poets should be generous and willing to share. Which is what makes this blog so exciting.

First I agree. I pass through times of inspiration when I am avidly writing all that enters my mind, then times of aridity during which I am dormant. Poetry is a release of emotions, for me at least. Poetry provides opportunities to express dissent, outrage at injustice but also times to delve into the inner self and the lives of others. On the whole I find poets are well intentioned. I hope this makes some sense.

Leon, you pose an interesting question. I come here to record thoughts and feelings and add a link to my personal webpages (via my profile) so that my children and grandchildren when they are ready to, can investigate what made the old boy tick.
How I would have loved to have something similar for my father (died age 61) and the grandparents I never knew!

Folks I think that on the whole we are all in agreement as to the many values to be found in
the writing
the reading
and the open mic'ing
of poetry
each of which is the greatest asset/s we have been blessed with
