with Ben Yahoo funding terrorists to bring Abbas to his knees;
his blind eyes turned to incendiaries and to rockets,
with millions in cash allowed through the crossing,
to maintain a ceasefire with Hamas in The Strip?

I am sceptical of anyone who asserts that either side has “right” on their side in this conflict.
Uilleam at least others posting prose, rhetoric, statements, and stories about cricket, football and rugby make a nod towards poetry!

Prose, rhetoric, statement, stories call them what you will, are frequently posted by other contributors.
However, I consider my knuckles well and truly rapped, and will in future refrain from being a tree-hugging, bleeding-heart looney-lefty, and will emulate others, confining my effort to posting prose, rhetoric, statements, and stories about cricket, football and rugby, of which sadly, I know bugger all.
Did you mean to post this on a political site Uilleam? For the life of me I cannot see any poetry in this 'statement' cum Q&A?

My point entirely; innocent babies, men and women, whose deaths could have been avoided had gutless politicians with vested interests (at least one in the UK ) had spoken out.
