Artificial Ignorance
how embarrassing it is
to be from a planet
that created artificial intelligence
not because it was hard
but, because we're too stupid to think for ourselves.

What is created reflects the time it takes place. Our own age
is marching forward with increasing reliance on the artficial
devices that illustrate and embody our own views of what is
necessary for our progress. Perhaps that goes hand in hand,
so to speak, with the ongoing fascination with what lies beyond
our own Earth and the devices sought to enable that adventure
to continue to....(fill in your own gaps). Were we given two
legs so that we should stare up towards the heavens for a
purpose as yet kept from us?
